This smart Broad-billed Sandpiper at Tyninghame was present for just 2 days in the Inner Bay, but did show well during this time to the delight of all who missed the last twitchable individual in August 2006. This bird would have undoubtedly proved more poplular had it not been for the discovery of a summer plumaged Spotted Sandpiper, just along the coast at North Berwick, just a few hours later!
