Buff-Breasted Sandpiper, Tyninghame (JMCP) - August 2005.

This juv. Buff-Breasted Sand at on the salt marsh at Tyninghame was about the 15th Record for the County, the majority turn up in September although August is not uncommon. They can often be very approachable birds but this one spent it's time with the mixed wader flock which included Pectoral Sandpiper & Little Stint during it's stay.
