LITTLE EGRET - Musselburgh / Gosford / Aberlady - April 2009.
Still a scarce bird in South-East Scotland, Little Egrets that hang around are always popular in Lothian. This bird, first found on the wader scrapes at Musselburgh on Thursday 24th April by Dave Allan, was very mobile throughout it's stay with further visits to Gosford and Aberlady Bay and remaining only to the months end.
Little Egret at Musselburgh (24th April) by Dennis Morrison and Dave Allan.
Little Egret at Gosford (25th April) by Brian Stevenson and Aberlady (26th April) by Kris Gibb.
