Lesser Scaup, St' Margrets Loch (Edinburgh) - Mar/Apr 2007.

This 1st-winter drake Lesser Scaup on St' Margrets Loch was the first Lothian Record, a bird which was well over due but still a surprise when it turned up. Found by Keith Gillon on the 30th March 2007, not to many people would have guessed the location for this county first. Luckily it stayed for a couple of weeks and showed really well throughout.
