The Musselburgh Richard's Pipit was a very elusive bird, spending most of it's time hidden away in the long grasses around the ash lagoon to the east of the river mouth good views were almost as rare as the bird it's self. This bird is only about the 9th? County Record, the first also being at Musselburgh in December 1913.
