SNOW GOOSE - Aberlady Area - September / Ocober 2009

This adult white morph Snow Goose was found on the morning of the 29th Setember 2009 by Norman Milligan and remained in the area until around the 16th October, during its stay it was seen mainly in Aberlady Bay in the afternoons and early mornings as it came and went from the roost but on several occasions it was seen inland at various locations during the day. After Lothian, the bird continued south with Pink-feet and was soon relocated south of the border. Another white morph Snow Goose was again in the same area from the 24th - 27th November 2009, whether or not it was the same
bird is difficult to prove.
